This week we take a detour into a little known film starring Scott Glenn and Toshiro Mifune. A family drama with plenty of action and thrills, this is a film that could have only been made in the 1980s. And it is unlike anything else we've covered.
Follow a struggling American boxer as he is pulled into a Japanese family's squabbles and has to learn how to be one of them or else he dies. Meanwhile, the traditional family does battle with progress as it tries to stay together.
As said earlier, this was not like the other movies we've watched, but it was a marvelous treat and gave a good bit to talk about. Check out the episode to learn more.
